Privacy Policy

Effective October 23, 2026

ExpressBooks Bookkeeping LLC, doing business as ExpressBooks (“ExpressBooks,” “we,” “us”), is offering remote and virtual services. Contact us at info@expressbooksllc.com or (614) 714-8350.

Information we collect

When you inquire, we collect the contact details, service interests, and business information you choose to provide. When you become a client, we collect the records needed for your agreed bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, or forms filing services. Purchases, when available, may involve order, billing, payment-status, and download information. Payment providers process payment details under their own terms and privacy notices.

Our website and its providers may also process technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, pages visited, cookies, and security logs. Analytics and advertising technologies, when enabled, may collect usage information.

How information is used

  • Respond to inquiries, assess service needs, and prepare proposals.
  • Perform the services you request and authorize, manage records, communicate with you, and administer billing.
  • Deliver purchased resources, provide support, protect the website, and prevent fraud and spam.
  • Meet legal, tax, recordkeeping, and regulatory obligations.

Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in a subscription or authorize a tax filing. Please do not send Social Security numbers, EINs, tax returns, identification documents, payroll records, bank/card details, or passwords through the public contact form. We arrange an appropriate channel separately for confidential records.

Service providers and authorized disclosures

Depending on the services you request and the systems you use, relevant information may be processed through providers such as QuickBooks, ADP, Gusto, or another bookkeeping, payroll, tax, payment, hosting, communications, or document-service provider. We use or disclose information as needed for the authorized purpose, subject to applicable law. Information may also be provided to the IRS, state or local agencies, or other filing authorities when authorized or required.

We do not sell client financial records or share them with other companies for their own unrelated marketing. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, or as otherwise permitted by law. Independent providers have their own privacy practices; a provider named here is an example and is not necessarily used for every client.

Tax and financial information

Additional confidentiality rules may apply to tax-return information and other client financial records. We obtain separate authorizations where required. This website notice, a service inquiry, and a general contact-form acknowledgment are not substitutes for a legally required consent to use or disclose tax-return information. Client-specific notices and agreements may supplement this policy.

Cookies, analytics, and spam protection

We use technologies needed for site operation, account access, shopping features, and security. Other integrations may support analytics or advertising. See our Cookie Policy for more information. Browser controls can restrict cookies, although some functions may be affected.

Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent abuse. Google may process device and interaction information for this purpose. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Retention and security

We retain information as needed for the relevant purpose, our client relationship, legal recordkeeping, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Different records may have different retention requirements. No website, email, or storage system can guarantee complete security. Contact us before transmitting confidential documents.

Your choices and requests

Contact info@expressbooksllc.com with questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information, or to stop promotional communications. We may need to verify your request through an appropriate channel. Legal retention requirements and other applicable exceptions may limit deletion or other requests. Service and legal notices may continue when needed. A service inquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing or marketing text messages.

Other websites and children

Links and third-party services are governed by their own policies. Our website is intended for adults seeking business or professional services and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through this website.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice to reflect our practices or applicable requirements. The effective date identifies the current version. For privacy questions, contact ExpressBooks Bookkeeping LLC, DBA ExpressBooks, at info@expressbooksllc.com or (614) 714-8350.

Google AdSense on resource articles

ExpressBooks resource articles may display Google AdSense advertising, subject to Google approval and availability. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and device identifiers to deliver, measure and personalize advertising. Advertising is limited to resource articles; it is not placed on our service, Shop, account, cart or checkout pages. Client financial records and contact-form responses are not provided as advertising content.

Optional advertising waits for your Marketing permission in Cookie Preferences. You can reject optional cookies or change that choice using the floating Cookie Preferences button. Google also provides regional advertising-consent and opt-out controls where applicable. See how Google uses information from partner sites, Google advertising technologies and Google My Ad Center for further choices.
